AMOI: the agent takes the paperwork, the metalworker stays on site
Geoffrey Anglade runs AMOI, a metalwork firm in Réunion. Since March 2026, his agent has sent his invoices to Axonaut, watched his Google reviews and alerted him when a contact comes in through the website. He used it on 22 days out of 30 between mid-August and mid-September. The time saved has not been measured.
Context
AMOI works steel, aluminium and stainless steel on Réunion: steel frames, roofs, installation. Geoffrey Anglade runs it. In the film, he places the heart of the trade in the manual work on site, and says that in a small firm the paperwork falls back on the owner in the evening and at the weekend.
On 23 March 2026 I installed his agent on his Mac mini, at the office, connected to the tools already in place: Axonaut for quotes and invoices, his Google listing, his website and his mail. The agent first ran on OpenClaw. The exact date of the move to Hermes is not verified; it was on Hermes by mid-April at the latest. Geoffrey uses the agent himself. He has been subscribed since 2 July 2026.

9 routines switched on, 22 days of use out of 30
Journal of 23 March 2026, first payment of 2 July, invitation of 31 August, fleet inventory of 13 September 2026.
What was done
The question was to connect the agent to the tools already there, and to give it the transfers that do not call for Geoffrey’s judgement on site.
Five trade routines are described in the records. Invoices go to Axonaut at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Replies to Google reviews are watched at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Every fifteen minutes, the agent checks whether the website has received a contact and, if so, tells Geoffrey. Invoices from two suppliers are collected from their sites, from the 1st to the 5th of the month. A monthly timesheet summary is produced. On 13 September 2026, nine routines were switched on, across three profiles: management, communication, accounting. “Switched on” means the routine exists on the machine. It does not prove that every run was correct.
A back-office routine
Trigger
a fixed hour (8 a.m. and 8 p.m. for invoices, 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for Google reviews) or a contact received on the website
Agent
reads the inbox, the tool or the site concerned
Output
invoice sent to Axonaut, Google reviews watched, contact alert

Beside the routines, one-off requests are dated. On 25 July, invoicing in Axonaut. On 31 July, work on the website: Geoffrey asked to keep everything, and to come back later for further changes. On 12 August, an expense recreated in Axonaut, and a site appointment created in his calendar. On 24 August, he used the agent’s desktop for images and network settings.
He talks to it by Telegram, by mail, by phone, and, since 31 August, he sees the agent’s desktop from his own machine. An inbound number was assigned to him. A note of 26 September says he uses it. The number of calls that are his is not verified.
In the film, from 2:26 to 3:33, Geoffrey describes this use. The quotations below are my translation of the film’s French subtitles.
“We can call the agent the way we would call a secretary or a colleague, to pass on orders or to make requests by phone.” (2:34)
“[…] we can, hands-free, while driving, in complete safety, keep talking with our agent.” (2:45)
The support was mostly corrective. Installation in March, then remote maintenance: an authentication fix on 14 June, the machine put back on the network on 18 June, diagnosis of the August outages. On 31 August, a two-hour session, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: sleep prevention, remote desktop access, a model change.
What changed
Measured. The subscription has run since 2 July 2026, with no interruption recorded by 13 September. From 14 August to 12 September, use covers 22 days out of 30. On 28 August, about 15,800 messages were in the Telegram database. These figures say that he uses it. They do not say how many minutes the paperwork took him before, or after.
Fleet records. “Switched on” does not prove that every routine ran correctly.
In the film, he places the agent where the trade stops.
“It is the owner who has to deal with it in the evening, at the weekend. In a manual trade, there, AI has its full place.” (3:14)
What the agent saves him has not been timed.
Limits
The agent lives on an office Mac mini: sleep, a locked session or a network outage makes it go silent. That happened twice in August, and Geoffrey reported it himself.
The film is published with Geoffrey Anglade’s agreement. The employee’s name and the suppliers’ names are not published.
